St. John Theristus was born in 1049 was an Italian Byzantine monk, called Theristus or “Harvester”. The monastery of San Giovanni Theristis is entitled to St. John Theristus. 

Saint as on Thursday, 23rd February 2017 is St. Adrian of Africa.  He was twice offered the vacant archbishopric of Canterbury.  He died on January 9th and was buried in the church of the monastery.

St. Margaret of Cortona was born in  Loviana in Tuscany in 1247. Margaret earned a living by nursing sick ladies. She died on 22 February 1297
