When you look to the Lord for help, you know He hears you. God sees your situation and He can make a difference in your life. You just have to ask Him.

Psalmist David tells God that it is His hands that made him and fashioned him agreeing with the creation of God in the book of Genesis. God says, “let us make man in our image.” 

God is so kind and gracious. The scriptures rightly describe Him as a very present help in time of trouble. God is not happy up there with somebody’s downfall or weakness. 

God protects His children like how a mother hen would her chicks. The hen broods over her young ones and protects them when a bird of prey is circling above their heads. 

In our weakness, we are made strong in the strength of the Lord. When we are lack peace, God’s peace will guard our minds and hearts. In the midst of turmoil and confusion, He will fill us with peace.

What does it mean to serve? The dictionary defines it as performing a duty for another person. God, in His immeasurable mercy and grace, rescued us from darkness and gave us a blessed hope and future. 

The blessings experienced by those who serve God are many. Think about how you can use your time, talents and treasures in service to God. God’s kingdom will continue to grow and flourish with or without our help.

Jesus saves His people. Jesus teaches them and corrects them so that they don’t end up in Sheol. Jesus instructs and teaches them from His Word. God’s wisdom is so great that He even knows the thoughts of men and women.

We cannot take God for granted and do what we want and still expect God to bless us. God wants us to obey Him completely. Therefore to have a victorious life, listen to the Victor in your life.

God gives us just enough light for the next step. We take that next step, and God gives you light for the step after that. He just asks us to trust Him. It’s like driving a car at night.
