God is not a respecter of persons.  He gives His grace freely to all people who acknowledge Him.  God loves people of all nations and tribes.  He just wants everyone to know that there is a God who really cares for them. 

David the psalmist says remember the enduring mercy of God at all times because God gave the psalmist all that was needed so the Psalmist gives thanks to God. Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Psalm 136:23 

If you are wounded in your heart, don’t despair… God will heal you and make you stronger than before. If your life feels shattered now, don’t walk away from God. He will bind up the pieces and restore your life by His grace.

Our Lord Jesus is a true God of hope. All of us have wishes, hopes and dreams for our life. It’s good to do our best, work on our goals and excel at the work of our hands. But is that where our hope lies?

Much like the shepherd king, we too were nobodies before we met Christ. God gave us the opportunity to know Him personally, provided grace to sustain an intimate relationship with Him and gifted us a new identity as His beloved children.

“The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:18.

”The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable.” Proverbs 10:31-32. Our lips know what is acceptable through our sense of discernment with Holy Spirit guidance and based on God’s word.

God is portrayed as a mighty Saviour of His people in this particular scripture. God says that He will deliver His children who have been treated as prey. He will take on or deal with the enemy who fights with us and will save us from his hands. 

Have you ever received a gift card that you stored in a special place for so long that you forgot you had it? Most of them have an expiration date, and if you don’t use it, you will surely lose it!

God is our refuge as well as strength. He is a very present help in times of trouble. God is our place of shelter or refuge. He also is our strength. When we feel we have strength, it is not our strength actually.
