16-12-2017As the winters approach, the month of December comes with the cold winds and white snow. It marks the start of the festive season in most parts of the world, as it’s the Christmas Month. The month of Celebration, togetherness and faith in God & most importantly it is the Celebration of love, faith and the bond people share with each other.
The most famous verse in the Bible is Jesus' explanation of why God sent him to earth: "God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." The entire reason for Christmas is the love of God. God loves us so much that he came to earth as a human so we could get to know him and learn to trust him and love him back. Thus, Christmas is a season of praise and thanksgiving for the incarnation of God in Jesus Christ.
To commemorate this blessed occasion, Grace Ministry Mangalore celebrated "Christmas 2017" with grandeur and pomp at Prayer Center on 15th of December 2017. Hundreds of people thronged to celebrate Christmas and were blessed with prolific word from Bro Isaac Richard, praise & worship led by Sis Hanna Richard.
The graceful occasion thus began with the melodious joyful hymns and music, followed by which Bro Isaac Richard delivered the Christmas Message to all who had gathered. The scripture was taken from the Gospel of Luke 1:28 which says,
"The angel went to her and said, Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
The angel then assured her that she had found favor with God, and would become the mother of a son whose name she should call Jesus, the Son of the Highest, one in a nature and perfection with the Lord God. JESUS! the name that refreshes the fainting spirits of humbled sinners; sweet to speak and sweet to hear, Jesus, a Saviour!
Added to this, Bro Andrew Richard addressed the occasion by his Live Video Conference with his seasonal greetings and prolific word from the United States of America, which completely turned the curiosity of the audience into a bliss.
Powerful live testimonies also walked in to testify the miracles they received through prayers at Grace Ministry.
On this joyous occasion, Christmas carols were sung by various choir teams meanwhile exclusive dance performances captured the hearts of many.
Santa’s entry was a surprise to the children, which thrilled them. He wished the gathering a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
A special charitable event was also held as a part of the celebrations, which consisted of distribution of sarees, provisional goodies to the needy & downtrodden. Hundreds were benefitted and blessed by it. The event thus came to an end as Mr.Blaze proposed the vote of thanks & it was followed by the exclusive Xmas Lunch thereafter.
