Mangalore: Grace Ministry offered Special prayers for Kerala Flood Victims 2018

25-08-2018Grace Ministry, Mangalore on August 24, 2018, prayed with the gathering for the many victims of the floods in Kerala, India.
The intense floods in Kerela have paralyzed normal life of millions of people. As Kerala battles to recover from the worst floods it has seen in a century, the death toll due to heavy rains and unprecedented floods has increased to 417 and 36 people are still missing.
The Grace Ministry joins the suffering of the families of the victims of the flood in Kerala and prays for the souls of the dead and for the survivors.

It also "appreciates the timely and efficient recovery work undertaken by local and state authorities, as well as the strong and immediate support provided by the Union government".
Bro Andrew also made an appeal "to all people of good will in the country and everywhere to come to the aid of our suffering brothers". He also invited "to analyze the causes of the flood, to adopt urgent solutions to preserve the environment and prevent further ecological damage to our common home, Mother Earth".
The Grace Ministry on Friday has appealed to all its members and all God-loving people to hold a moment of ardent prayer in unison during everyday prayers for the people of Kerala, who are facing untold miseries owing to devastating rains and floods.
“We all must consider ourselves as if we are facing the same fate with the suffering people of Kerala,” said Bro Andrew Richard.
Bro Andrew urged to pray for the consolation of the people who have lost their dear ones and who are rendered homeless, for proper resettlement of the affected people, for the rescue and relieve workers, for the rulers of Kerala and India to be able to tackle the crisis properly, for the possible outbreak of diseases after the flood and for the health of the medical workers
“May God, for Jesus’ sake, be merciful to the people of Kerala,” he added.
