Call unto him and he will Answer

“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:3 

As humans, we find comfort in soothing words or the presence of a loved one. Crying babies find solace in the arms of a doting parent. Someone who’s grieving leans on the shoulder of a dependable friend. We have our family, church and community to come alongside and help us along life’s journey. But sometimes, we face situations that nobody else can help us through. While we may turn to people on a daily basis, when the unexpected happens, we can only turn to Jesus.

God gave us His Word… when we call to Him, He will answer us. The Holy Spirit is the best comforter we can ever have. But let’s not call on God for just the major matters. Whether you’re going through something trivial or life altering, call on God for help first. He hears when you call His Name. He is ever ready to help, listen, guide and strengthen you on a daily basis.

Call on Him when you’re sad and when you’re happy. Call on Him when you’re sick but also when you’re healthy; when you feel strong and when you’re at your weakest. Call to Jesus on your good days and your bad. When you seek Him above all else, He will reveal Himself to you in a very profound way. Experience the fullness of a consistent relationship with God in your life.
