Daily Devotion - Who is trustworthy

Psalm 71:6 (NKJV): By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.

Why do I put my trust in our Lord God?
My God wants the very best for me. He looks out for me. He will never let me get put to shame. He delivers me in His righteousness. He listens to me calling out to Him and saves me. God is my strong refuge, my rock, and my fortress to whom I can go back again and again. God gave me commandments to help save me.

My God is the One who I can turn to for deliverance from my enemies – the wicked, unrighteous, and cruel people.

My God is my true hope – I could trust only in my God since my birth (because He upheld me) when God removed me from my mother’s womb, through my youth, and this will be my truth to my old age. Because my God is never changing to everlasting. God is the only One, who I can rely on, for my salvation.

How else can I react, opine, or respond than to praise my God incessantly – to use my mouth to praise, to glorify, to uphold in worship, and to trumpet my God’s glory all day and every day.
