It is true that the reward is not seen on this earth but the joy of meeting those that were blessed by our presence, help, smile, and encouraging words, will be so sweet. We are looking forward to it.

Our Lord Jesus was the greatest volunteer to serve his disciples and wash the feet of his own disciples, thus modeling exceptional voluntary service. John 13:12-14, “You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” Volunteering isn’t what we want from you, it’s what we want for you. Not what you have to do, but what you get to do.
