I will go before you and make the crooked place straight, I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron Isaiah 45:2     

We all have those hopeless phases in our lives where we receive defeats and pain one after the other. This can be in our health, relationship, careers, education, ministry or any other area in our lives.

At this moment, the world is going through a very difficult phase. Some countries and people are affected more than others. The road ahead seems hopeless and crooked.

As the children of God, we have the Word of God to claim victory and life into our situations. During this time of uncertainty, let us claim this verse into our lives. Let the word of God become active in our lives.

Hebrews 4 :12 says for the word of God is alive and active…

Every scripture in the bible is a promise that we can claim and make a reality in our lives. This verse has very specific promises for us. The Lord says

I will go before you – Our God will be our leader and guide

I will make the crooked place straight – Our God will make the road easier for us

I will break the gates and cut the bars of Iron- Our God will fight our battles

This morning let our hearts not be burdened. The Lord Jesus is our leader, guide, defender and fighter of our battles. Wherever we are afraid to go, He will go before us and take us through our pain, sorrows and troubles and lead us into victory.

So,let us not be afraid as our God is on our side.
